Captain Chad Malmberg, USA, Retired is a police officer working in his department's Training Unit, and has over 20 years of experience in the U.S. Army and Minnesota Army National Guard (MNARNG). Chad’s military service began as a U.S. Army Paratrooper at Fort Bragg, North Carolina where he represented the 82nd Airborne Division as a boxer and was introduced to many of the empty hand combatives techniques that are being used in law enforcement today.
Professor Tom Menton is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and a 14 year law enforcement veteran. Tom has approximately a decade of patrol experience, having worked in a busy city district for the majority of his career. Tom currently works in the Training Unit, is a S.W.A.T. Operator, Use of Force Instructor, Firearms Instructor, and a Field Training Officer.
Senior Commander Troy Greene has been a licensed police officer in a large metropolitan city since 1995. He has a master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in Police Leadership. Most recently, Troy has served as the Senior Commander of the Special Operations Unit (SOU). SOU is responsible for the planning and coordination for large scale protests and civil unrest incidents. Troy has served as the Incident Commander for several recent high profile civil unrest incidents for the metropolitan city that he serves.
